Add The Tipoff to your home screen and it opens full screen from its own icon, just like an app. It's free, and there's nothing to download from an app store.
Use Safari
The first time you open it from your home screen, you'll need to sign in once. On iPhone and iPad, the home-screen app keeps its own sign-in, separate from Safari.
Use Chrome
Don't see that option? Look for Install app or Add to Home screen in the same menu. If you're already signed in on Chrome, you'll be signed in straight away.
Most browsers can do this too. Look in the browser's menu or Share button for “Add to Home Screen” or “Install”.
Those apps open links in their own viewer, which can't add to your home screen. Tap ••• and choose Open in browser (Safari or Chrome) first, then follow the steps above.
You don't need notifications to use The Tipoff. Turn them on if you'd like the occasional update, like new competitions and features. You can switch them off any time in My Profile.
On iPhone and iPad, notifications only work in the home-screen app (iOS 16.4 or later), not in a Safari tab. If you're using The Tipoff, or a Focus or Do Not Disturb mode is on, notifications may arrive quietly: swipe down from the top of your screen to see them. Not getting any? In My Profile, tap Disable, then Enable again.
